Ring Around the Moon Door Broom

$395.00
sold out

It is common practice in paganism and witchcraft to hang a broom above, beside, or on the door. The idea behind it is to create a barrier/filter to keep out negative energy, unwanted guests, and evil spirits while welcoming in positive energy and joyful gatherings into the home. The broom symbolized the act of sweeping out the bad and sweeping in the good.

This door broom is made with dyed black and blue broomcorn tied onto a black-stained witch hazel handle. It is stitched flat with royal blue twine. It is adorned with an opalite oval, encircled with opalite pieces and clear quartz points. There is a braided loop of twine at the top for hanging.

This broom is inspired by the ring around the moon (a sign trouble is not far behind) in Practical Magic.
